Dr Suzanne Jamieson

Dr Suzanne Jamieson was elected as a Blue Mountains City Councillor in 2024. After a long career as a senior public servant, Suzanne built a distinguished career at the University of Sydney where she has taught law since 1990. For many years she has fought equal pay cases, especially for women in NSW. She also has a strong interest in occupational health and safety. She was a member of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Board for ten years.

Since moving to the Blue Mountains Suzanne has volunteered for many community organisations including Blue Mountains Women’s Health and Resource Centre. She is currently a member of Blue Mountains ZONTA, a women’s group with a special interest in supporting women and children who are victims of family violence.

Suzanne brings her legal knowledge and expertise, along with her commitment to building strong communities.
